Emmaus House provides safety, counseling, and emergency shelter for victims of domestic violence and their children. Through the work of our trained advocates and the assistance from community resources Emmaus House is able to provide its clients with a range of services.

  • Temporary Shelter during time of transition
  • Emergency food and clothing
  • Play/Art Therapy for Children
  • Safety and Wellness Planning
  • Housing referrals
  • Job referrals and support
  • Onsite computer lab for letters and resume writing, etc
  • In-house individual and group counseling
  • Outreach therapy
  • Medical referrals and advocacy
  • Court and social advocacy support
  • Assistance with restraining orders
  • Referrals for legal assistance
  • Assistance with economic independence such as, financial management training
  • In-house programs (parenting workshops, rediscovery classes, etc)
  • Childcare services (story telling/ after school tutoring etc)
