Emmaus House Staff
Executive Director: Mary Lou Coffelt
Mary Lou Coffelt is honored to serve as the Executive Director for Emmaus House. She has been associated with Emmaus House long before our doors were opened in 2006 to serve the women and children who struggle to overcome the tragedy of domestic violence. She began volunteering during the house construction and went on to serve on the Board of Directors for five years, serving as board member, vice chair and finally, board chair.
She became Executive Director in 2009 at the request from the Board of Directors and hasn't looked back since.
She is proud and excited to be a part of the vision of Emmaus House. She is happy to continue the life changing work that Emmaus House offers - not just providing emergency housing to women and children in need - but empowering them as they learn life skills that will assist them as they move toward a more positive future.
Mary Lou brings to Emmaus House a passion and commitment that will help Emmaus House grow and flourish, remain sustainable, and continue to compassionately serve our community's vulnerable women and children.
