What is Domestic Violence?
Domestic Violence is a crime. Everyone has the right to be safe.

Domestic violence occurs when a family member, partner or ex-partner attempts to physically or psychologically dominate another. Domestic violence often refers to violence between spouses, but can also include cohabitants and non-married intimate partners.

Domestic Violence is an ongoing pattern of coercion and intimidation in which one person attempts to control another with the use of threats or other tactics, which can include any or all of the following: physical, sexual, verbal, and psychological abuse.
