Monterey YWCA 24-hour hotline: (831) 372-6300 All shelter residents must be clean and sober. Case management is required. Shelter is not drop-in. Call Hotline number for information. Furnishes shelter for battered women and their children for up to an eight-week stay. Professional counseling, drop-in domestic violence groups, court escort, Temporary Restraining Order clinics, and referrals.

Mandatory case management.
   Emergency shelter offers a maximum stay of 90 days. Food, shower, and bed are all available. Clothing and referrals are also provided. Transitional housing is available with multiple requirements for intake.  English/Spanish.
